International Women’s Day 2016 POSTER Competition:

 

“EVERY YEAR 15 MILLION GIRLS ARE MARRIED AS CHILDREN, DENIED THEIR RIGHTS TO HEALTH, EDUCATION AND OPPORTUNITY, AND ROBBED OF THEIR CHILDHOOD. IF WE DO NOTHING, BY 2030 AN ESTIMATED 15.4 MILLION GIRLS A YEAR WILL MARRY AS CHILDREN.”

 

This year as part as international women's day we are giving you the opportunity to make a difference to millions of women's lives.

 

Over the half term break design a poster that highlights the issues of forced marriage, how it affects victims and why it is important to raise awareness.

 

Think about who will see this poster and what they can do to help/get help. Be as creative as you want and use the logos and images attached.

 

All entries are to be 1 side A4 and are to submitted to the office by no later than 1st of March 2016 Winning entries will be announced on Wednesday 8th March 2016.
